A summer card

It's very late - over midnight! I just forgot the time beeing home from vacation and making card. I have really had a good time creating again. It's nice to have vacation but it's also nice to come home again :=)

I have made this card for two challenges:
1) Promaker challenge blog want to se distress used on the card and i like to use distress so i had to join the challenge. I have of course used Promakers coloring the stamp.
2)Ett trykk has a challenge based on a picture of a bike. I liked the colours in the photo and i have used green and pink as my main colours. I have also used polka dots patterned paper - i was inspired of the bike's basket.

On monday i am going on a little trip with Elise (Lambi in the blog world). We will spend a couple of days together and i am taking the children with me. And of course, we will bring with us Promakers and stamps for late night activity!

sketchy colours

Sketchy colours har en utfordring hvor man skal følge en skisse samt ha farger i turkis, lime og litt rosa. Jeg har prøvd å få til akkurat det og legger herved ut kortet mitt som jeg lagde i går. Har vært hjemme fra ferie siden lørdags kveld men føler ikke at jeg har fått slappet av hjemme med hobby. Derfor snek jeg meg til hobbyloftet i går og det var veldig godt å komme opp dit.Motivet har jeg fargelagt underveis i ferien og har 8 andre motiver liggende klare - det blir montering av kort når jeg får noen dager hjemme igjen. Men, i dag skal vi ut igjen på båttur. Derfor dette hasteinnlegget :=)

På kortet har jeg brukt Tim Holtz bakgrunnspapir i turkis, hvit bazzil med prikker på, magnolia stempel, magnolia glasspynt, hvit blomst og sommerfugl fra kuttut.no og jeg har brukt Prima kartong i lime under motivet. Teksten "en smak av sommer" er fra northstamps (snek meg en tur til Bikuben i går etter legebesøk, he he. Ble litt trøsteshopping fordi jeg måtte begynne på enda en ny antibiotikakur :=)

one card - two challenges

I visited Promaker challenge blog and they have a theme about animals. They wrote about Michelle, a designer of "a spoon full of sugar" and told about her accident. So i visited "a spoon full of sugar" and they wrote about their designer Michelle that has lost one of here eyes. She will have a long recovery periode and therefor they had a digistamp made for her and wanted people to use it to make a card for Michelle. And of course i wanted to join in - i am sending these card for Michelle tomorrow!

2)A spoon full of sugar

Tomorrow i am sending my son (he is 9 years) for music camp. It's his first camp alone and on sunday we are going to get him back home and the children will have a consert for the parents. We look forward to that. It's a little bit scary to send him alone for the first time - but he is happy and looks forward to it.
